Adobe to Launch CS6 Next Week

Adobe will launch Creative Suite 6 (CS6), the next version of its digital media software, next week in San Francisco, with its latest Web-based subscription, Creative Cloud.

The event is scheduled to be held on April 23 and will be hosted by Shantanu Narayen, the CEO of Adobe. This event will be streamed over web at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on Adobe’s launch site. It will be replayed later at tv.adobe.com.

Not only all applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver as well as Premiere Pro will be presented to public for first time, but the company is also staging San Francisco based scavenger hunt, with prizes of $10,000 as well as free lifetime subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.

The creative Cloud service give user all CS6 apps- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dream Weaver, Premiere Pro as well as the remaining– along with updates, starting at $49.99 every month for an user. The service features all the mobile app of Adobe and online collaboration and project hosting capabilities.

According to the company, other than the product launch, Adobe will “unveil new primary research on the impact of creativity on our culture and economy, and reveal new initiatives that encourage creativity in education.”
