Google+ Local With Zagat

So finally Google gave answer to Yelp. Except the five star ratings for locations you will get Zagat's more complete 30-point system, which gives separate scores for food, decor and service.

This is pretty well integrated across all of Google's other products. While we can reach directly by clicking on the "Local" tab in Google+, the Google+ Local results also come up with looking for business in maps or search. Another nice feature for Gchat users has the ability to chat while searching for a business.

It also take the results for the Meatball shop, fun restaurant that are located near your home. While on Yelp you get a big map and some small tiles leading to a photo directly from the business. We have to go to the official website for it. Google+ Local puts everything in one place because the business posts on Google+  we can read about specials, see photos from recent events and many more.

Zagat has a huge database of surveys and readers submissions. Google needs to entice people to interact. If they don't, Google+ Local will look like a lot of the rest of Google+ : pretty, functional and empty.
