Simple Way to Block - Unblock The Website

Sometimes in companies, schools, colleges we have found that some websites have been blocked or we want to block some websites. We have to do that for privacy purpose. Today I am going to tell you a very common and simple way using which you can easily block the website or even unblock it without using software. So just go through the following simple steps.



Steps :

Step 1 :  Go to Start >>  run

Step 2 : Type C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Step 3 : Open "HOSTS" in notepad

Step 4 : Under 127.0.0.1 localhost  add IP name
             IP : IP of the site to be blocked
             Name : Name of website

Example :

127.0.0.1    www.facebook.com

To Unblock the website just delete or erase that line from notepad and save

That's It Now you can easily Block or Unblock the Website
